My Pea Pen - Irene Took Down!! *UPDATED W/PICS*

Sorry to hear about your pen. You are having some bad luck, good new i sent you a new fan and guard for you incubator, guard should be all you need, Think them selling incubator with out guard over the fan ,is just crazy. Sure those are not the first chicks hurt by it

Just wanted to let everyone know I am expanding my pen LMAO! I need to add on a few more breeding pens. I am also thinking of putting in a duck pen too. I have a pair of mallards (my TSC had 4 chicks and 4 ducks left, but 2 ducks did not make it). The chicks are laying eggs already

Well It happened again!

Last night wet got 10 plus inches of heavy wet snow. The weather people said 3-6 inches, you know they can't get it right but after the snow they brag how well they predicted the amount

Well this is what I woke up to this morning and now all my birds have been grounded and cannot come out of the shed

The pen is COMPLETELY smashed! The netting allowed the wet snow to stick to it and 10 inches or more of the snow bought it crashing down. Tonight I went to see exactly what the damage is and the weight broke almost all the 4x6 timbers that hold it up. This happened last year and cause my breeding to be screwed up. Gonna have to try to get it up and running by the end of March.

I did not get to use the new breeder pens that actually wrapped around the main pen that I finished agter breeding season last year
