I have babies supposed to be born/shipped tmrw... Anyone have any idea what day I should expect them? Thurs or Fri? I'm only 1 state away...(about 4 hours)

I hope they are ok! Pick up hours do not start until 7:30. Should I put anything in their water, like sugar or ACV? If so, how much and for how long? I only have 4 chicks so their waterers are small. TIA

Mine were hatched Wednesday and arrived on Friday. I'm in Oklahoma though.

Our post office called me at like 6:20 that morning to come get them... before the tracking was updated and before they opened.

Thanks for asking. I think a little. I did get water in her last night. After she perked up a little I put some of the chick food in the water and fed her that. I worked on getting water/food & water in her for about an hour. After I ate supper I got some more of the food and water in her before heading to bed. This morning I got more water down her and some food. When I put her back in the box she did peck at the food a few times and went to the water bottle.

That's good. Hope she continues to get better! Did you try Save a chick or electrolytes? I'm new at this so I don't have a whole lot of advice to offer.

No. I don't have any of that. I'll have to see if I can find some. Any idea where to get it?

I picked some up at TSC and at Agway, they had it at the feed store too.

I'll have to see what Atwoods has and check our mill. The nearest TSC is almost an hour away for me.
