If anyone around my way sold eggs that looked as beautiful as yours, I'd buy them all!

Kinda reminds me of that Little House on the Prairie episode, when Harriet refused to give Carolyn full price for her eggs because they were brown....wonder how she would have reacted to the blue ones?

Get this...My mom won't eat the eggs from my hens because she says they aren't healthy. She prefers the nasty month old ones from the store rather than the nice big day old ones from the backyard....I try to show her videos on youtube of where the nasty eggs from the store come from but she is to grossed out by chickens to see it.

BUT today I txtd the local restaurant; very small place...I know the owner...
so he personally wants to buy my eggs; so I went for dinner and got a $2.50 discount lol so my dinner for 3 kids and myself; sandwiches & drinks cost $9.50 ttl...

after he took the $2.50 off...

Sounds great! BTW, I did make some egg salad, and put it in the fridge last night. Yum, yum! Egg salad on white bread with a pickle for lunch today! The twins would't touch it, but I'm sure I don't have to tell y'all how good egg recipes are when they are made with fresh eggs from your own flock!

Glad to hear you're able to move some of those eggs!

I had a neighbor ask me if the brown eggs are like normal eggs?? huh?? She said, like do they have yolks, is it yellow? What do they taste like??
I asked her if she gets her meat from a cow or the grocery store..

I can't imagine being so far removed from my food...ie eating from the land. Oh wait, I can! But I've since returned. I love love love fresh chicken eggs. They're fantastic.

my brother won't eat brown eggs he says they taste funny but I think he is just weird lol. Of course many ppl say that fresh taste better then store bought but I can't tell the difference...

We were "forced" to eat breakfast at a restaurant this week out of town. EEWW. Not only were the eggs terrible, it caused me physical pain to pay that much for white eggs when I knew I had fresh brown ones in the fridge at home.

I have a similar issue though, my family thinks I should just give them eggs for free, and my friends a co-workers don't want to pay more than 1.00 per dozen.

I told them as long as I'm the one stepping in chicken poo and fighting a mean rooster in the morning I can charge $2.00 per dozen for my eggs.
