Pringle, where were they housed. I lost a Manchurian yesterday to a wasp. It stung it multiple times and the poor bird seized

It is terrible to lose a bird especially witnessing it. I am so sorry!!!!

I agree with Rozzie, take proper caution with the new chicks and the remaining adults. They may be carrying something we do not know of

And praying for a new Brownie Jr!!!!

They were housed in my basement with a wire floor. They had about 1 sq ft of space per bird and all of them seemed so happy. The remaining 4 seem like there doing great they are playing around in the sand and everything.

Robo,it might have been becouse she seemed to be gasping for air and breathing really heavy near the last 5 minutes or so,but wouldent that have showed up longer before that?

No nothing like that in fact she was the biggest out of all of them and imediatly showed her authority by pecking all of them.Ive seen her drinking and eating during the past couple weeks. The only times she might of gone hungry was when she had her back turned to the perverted male while eating and you know the rest.

If you can order some sulmet and give it to the others it will rid any bacteria toxin they may have. When I encounter someone not doing well, EVERYONE gets some sulmet in their water, it's a great preventative and not harmful.
