How do you know if your rabbit is depressed? He won't eat a carrot i gave him but he seems fine when I have him roaming around my bed he just isnt sitting there.

Well I have a holland lop doe who won't even touch a carrot! She prefers her celery and dried papaya. If you are worried about your rabbit being depressed keep these in mind
-Is he eating his food?
-Is he drinking properly?
-Is he curious?
-Will he roam if given a space to do so?
-how does he behave around you? Anxious?Or Layed back?

If you keep these in mind, you can often tell if your rabbit is depressed. Also keep in mind overfeeding and boredom can lead your rabbit to act differently.
But if he just doesn't eat carrots, well maybe he doesn't like them!

Mine won;t touch carrots either so I feed them to my dog. VERY inexpensive and healthy dog treat. My buns get broccoli.

Well I cut his nails, brushed him, changed his cage, gave him fresh water, put a popcorn treat in there for him(The ones on the sticks), and put some hay in there. He did a little bit of the carrot. I just gotta get him out of the cage. I have a hatch outside but it needs to be cleaned out. Last summer I put him out there for a couple hours and then brought him in.
