My rooster don’t like my pullets

I have a silkie rooster and silkie hen who will be a year old in May. I kept them both until now just them two. I decided to get 12 chicks. (2 barred rocks 2 Cochins 6 silkies 1 RIR 1 Ameraucana They are now 10 weeks old. They are in the same coop but there is a divider in between my two that I’ve had and the new pullets I want to take the divider down one day so they call roam around together in the cooo but my rooster doesn’t like them he aggressively chases them and grabs them by the neck. Not trying to mount but to hurt. I am attached to all of them how do I get him to like my chicks?

How long have the adults been able to see but not access the chicks?

I would say a month maybe

Remove the male.
How much space do they have?
Coop and run, in feet by feet?
