OK well just take the sock away, and make sure he has lots of water and chicken food to eat, so he can poop . If the crowing is a big problem, you should send him to a new home. If he only ate a little pieces, he should be able to poop it out.

He will die if it gets caught in his digestion track and stays. If it gets caught he needs surgery. Monitor him for at least 3 days. If he shows signs of illness please take him to the vet if you care about him.

Do what PerfectPlumage said, and give him soft food like cooked veggies and plain yogurt, he will eat it by himself, maybe get the other chicken away so they don't eat his special food.
