My rooster finally crowed!!!!

It was his first time and at sundown of all the odd things.

He stood up tall. Puffed himself up. Reached out his neck! And......

let out the saddest crow I have ever heard. I swear, it sounded like someone had stepped on him and all the air came out.

He was so proud of himself though - he tried it again but it was worse the second time.

I am sure he will get better with age

Anybody else have a funny first crow?

Bri first crowed at 6 months old.. He was puffing up and flapping for a good hour before he let out the worse crow I have ever heard, flapping the whole time... LITTERALLY sounded like Rrr rrrRRRR RRR rrr
then he crowed for the rest of the hour he was out of the run. and each one was sadder than the last lol

My cockerel did his first crows this morning too! I was proud of him, he was proud of himself and all the others ran back into the coop in fear of what the heck it was, lol. His kazoo sounding crows startled my horses and got our dog barking, heehee.
