My rooster started to crow the other day but it sounded like it was fadding and today it sounds worse. I ordered some VERTRX due to other posts should be getting it tomorrow but I'm not sure if that is going to help. I'll upload a video or him. (Excuse his featherless legs he got attacked by a dog a few weeks ago)https://flipagram.com/f/vO6sqzOjv1 We are in FL I'm not sure if it was him not having feather and all this rain we got that he might have gotten sick. Any advice will help thank you so much.

Welcome to BYC. I wouldn't worry too much about his voice if he is just starting to crow. My rooster has always had that funny sound or reverberation that yours has after a crow. Just make sure that your coop is dry and has good air circulation overhead. Mold can be deadly in chickens, causing problems in breathing and all organs. Dust is another problem which can be hard to control. Look for any signs of nasal or eye drainage, sneezing, or gasping--all signs of a respiratory infection. Here is a good link to read that includes all of the common diseases and symptoms, as well as respiratory ones: http://edis.ifas.ufl.edu/ps044

He's actually been crowing for a while now. We've had him for a year now and this just started like on Saturday I want to say. Today it's worse. I'm hoping the VETRX will help once it comes on today. But thank you.

Welcome to Backyard chickens! I hope you have as much fun on here as I have had! I hope your big guy starts to feel better. Keep us posted!
