I have three runner ducklings, 4 weeks old, that I have been letting out during the day ( it is in the mid 70's here in Houston), to run in the chicken run. They have been doing this for a few days now, and everything has been working good. Today when I went out to get them one of the ducklings had some blood around her nostrils and you could see signs of pecking, I guess. I cleaned her up, and she seems fine, is there anything else I should do or do y'all think she will mend on her own? She is in the brooder now going along with her merry duckling business so I don't think she is hurt but let me know what you think. I searched under the topic and nothing pulled up. Any help at all will be so very appreciated.
