My seven week old Brahma hen crowed?! I'm going crazy or I'm in denial...

He's such a beautiful boy. I love him so much. He needs a buddy for sure. Now... I'm going to have to get him a lady friend that's about his age, correct? Give or take a week or so? I want to this to be as comfortable as possible for him, and of course his lady .lol

Honestly - lady friends, yes. His age? No. If you can get pullets that are already laying age I think it would be better. If he 7 weeks, he'll hit full on puberty right about the 16 week mark. Once he does, he'll have all the drive, but none of the finesse so to say. An older pullet/hen will fare better under his advances. He's going to be fairly .. um, rambunctious and very clumsy. Younger pullet's could get injured during his learning curve/raging hormones.

I am in CT and I'm lucky because mypther in law has many hens and gets chicks often so I think she is going to help me out with this. I just want to thank everyone for their help and kindness. I'm not much of a social media gal but this experience was very enjoyable. Thank you for having me and welcoming me into your community.
