My silkie hen went broody in winter

when they hatch the mom will want to get off the nest with them walk around and get food. if you expect her to sit still to always keep them warm, the chicks and the mom would die. I didn't let my babies out till they were 2 weeks old- then in a heated brooder with the mom.

two hatched oh there adorable.
