My silkie rooster has eye worm..

At this point, since this has been going on for so long, I would get some veterycin eye wash or sterile saline and clean out that eye really good and try to get a look at what is going on. Remove any pus or debris. If there is pus it will look cheesy rather than runny. If you have eye worm you should be able to see it. It's also possible that it is just really infected. Maybe got something foreign lodged in there. I'm assuming it's just the one eye as you haven't said they both look like that? I would think eyeworm would likely affect both eyes, but that's an assumption on my part. If there is infection then the terramycin eye ointment will help. I really think you need to take a good look before you treat for something you aren't sure of. If you are squeamish about it, see if you can find someone to help you who is less so.

Yes it is only one eye even though the other has the white discharge in the feathers underneath. I'll try the Vetrx first since it won't hurt anything anyway and if it doesn't clear up from using that, I'll try something else since he's still behaving normally/not acting sick in any way aside from the way he looks. I do have some eye wash I could try using but I may just wait and try to use the medicine first. Also, the swelling has gone down a tiny bit but there's more bubbles in his eye than before.

I really don't think this is eyeworm, but probably MG or another bacterial infection. Go to the top of this page under search forums and read the thread "Finally Swollen Eye Sinus Lump Cure Treatment." It has some very good info about cleaning out the infection, how to treat it, and what causes it. Eyeworm would be in both eyes, and chickens with eyeworm in tropical areas where it is more common, may eventually scratch their eyes so badly that they go blind. VetRx is an herbal oil treatment, but you may need some antibiotics and antibiotic eye drops.

The swelling has gone down quite a bit on it's on since I made this thread and now it's mostly just his face that is puffy. I gave him the Vetrx yesterday and the bubbling at the corner of his eye has disappeared so I'm wondering if he didn't injure it somehow and the swelling/yellow discharge is unrelated to the actual problem?

EDIT: Forgot to mention there was quite a bit of clear drainage from his eye afterwards.

Also, thanks for all of the info so far guys!
