Me too

Me three

It's not *that* interesting.

I was at a party, and went to the bathroom. Sittin' on the terlet, I started to get a little twitchy, and creeped out, and found I was leaning as far away from the tub as I could get and couldn't stop looking at the curtain (or, maybe, didn't want to look away from it...?). So I wash my hands and get back out to the party, and everyone was *already* talking about how creepy the bathroom was. The woman who was hosting the party said she avoided that half of the house when she was home alone with the kids.

So, I don't know what it was, nobody had seen anything, and the homeowner didn't know about anything that had happened, but we were all, independently, physically and emotionally squicked by whatever was behind the curtain.

I call it the "hostile bathtub", as "haunted" just doesn't feel right.

I can't remember if I did or not.

I kinda think I did (and there was nothing there, of course, but I was still super spooked), but then I remember just how creeped out I was and think I couldn't possibly have done.

You saw that movie right? Creepy, but nothing on some others I could name.
Paranormal Activity was the latest one we watched... woogy that.

No way I'd make him sleep in there... golden rule kind of thing there... even if it IS just a weird house settling thing... If I can't hack it, not going to make someone else.

Most places have open disclosure laws on the books, and that includes telling you if someone died in the house... even if it was a 103 year old who died peacefully in their sleep they're still poda tell you... if all else fails go to the library and hunt the papers... or call the paper... or the police station...

Just tell them that the Kirby vacuum guy told you the stain that you couldn't get out was blood and that got you curious as to what the devil happened... no need to tell the whole tale and get tongues wagging...

Just found this ...thought you might find this interesting:

Monroe, Georgia Ghost Tales

The ghost of a woman who committed suicide by hanging herself can be seen and heard walking around in the upstairs bedroom where the suicide occurred.

Not everything in Monroe, Georgia is as it seems; this place has a decent ratio of phantoms. The living dead are living in this city as the residents will declare. Several residents assert these stories are untrue, but not a hundred percent of the residents of Monroe are really alive.

These are some of the spooky things that have happened in nearby cities and towns.

Hmm Big Chicken do you know where that is suppose to be taken place?
The square of monroe has buildings you can tell were built back in the 1800s. One looks like a saloon that had a hotel on the second story

I often find myself dazed off at the red lights picturing the town back then

Ok, I live in a 150 year old farmhouse in the middle of nowhere, the family is all asleep and I am seriously FREAKED OUT!!!! I hope I don't have to pee anytime soon, I can not leave this chair. I had to skip the last few pages of this thread!

I have done some space clearing here and am an Acupuncturist and do Feng Shui so am very familiar with the stangnant energy thing. Easy things to do are go to all 4 corners of the room and clap loudly, the sound of the clap will change as the energy clears. Bells work too, but I think claps are better. I do that in my treatment room after difficult patients. It helps. I know that feeling of the heaviness, it is creepy. Since both you and your son feel it I would guess there is SOmething, but maybe just stuck, not bad. I asked my kids a few times about seeing angels/apparitions as little kids are better at it usually. They said no too.

omg. the night i saw paranormal activity i came home COMPLETELY and utterly freaked out. of course my mom had to go get something to drink at midnight and scare me half to death!!! my bedroom is RIGHT by the stair case and i'm already scared of my hall cuz there is a huge mirror which freaks me out LOL and my cat ALWAYS stairs out my room into the hallway. it scares me

i am sooooo glad i am not home alone. i wouldn't be able to sleep now. i must admit i am scared lol. ghost stories freak me out sooo much when i talk about the ones in my old house i get teary eyed, but i will share mine.. i didn't experience them but my mom talks about it.

when i was a baby we lived in a house in Pomona, Ca. my dad was gone all the time because he was a pilot for Marvin Davis. he was a big time oil man i guess. when my dad was gone he'd bring my mom home gifts and he'd send her flowers with like a teddy bear. my parents had this dresser and it had a round mirror on it. when she would take a shower, and then get out all the stuffed animals that she placed on the dresser with the mirror would be turned around! mind you she was home with ONLY me and i was still in a crib and not walking then!! and also the cabniets would swing open and my mom said they were always really hard to open. the rocking chair would rock by it's self AND the stero would turn on by it's self too!!!
