I'm sorry you lost your beautiful boy. The heat is pretty harsh right now. I have resorted to giving the chickens more fans than we get and its still pretty harsh. Hugs

I'm just so sad for you right now!! I am going to have to explain my blubbering to my hubby, but he'll get it. I have a splash baby boy of about 5 weeks who needs a home, and I'd be happy to send him to you! He's bound to be a big thing, though who could compare to Thor?

Let me know if you want him- he's just a love already, and I know he'll be gorgeous!

ChooksChick thank you for the wonderful offer. I would not want to try to ship or transport birds in this horrid heat but your boy sounds like a love.

I have eggs from speckledhen in the bator right now on day 8 so I am hopefull there will be a new flock leader in there. We will see in a couple of weeks.

Again, again, I am crying. He was a hero and a perfect head roo - there will never be another like him, and we will ALL miss him and the wonderful stories about him. How blessed you are, Cetawin, to have had him, even though for such a short time. And for him to have had your love and care.
