They have such loving little personalities, and I don't usually say that about poultry
They just want to be out and be social with people. I think it is really strange, actually. All my other chickens (and guineas) could care less about me.
It is interesting, we ordered them as a sort of novelty. As babies they were just ADORABLE, and they grew into nice young ladies. When they were both injured by the cockerels, they were the best patients. They let me put Neosporin on them, carry them around, and they were in their own sick wards for a while, where they never wiggled around or complained. Now they are thriving in their own pen and should start laying any day
