Just think, they had no life. Their life was sitting in a tiny cage and laying eggs. And then you came along, and their life was changed! They finally got to do what all chickens should do!

Bless you for taking then under your wing and giving them a second chance and the opportunity to be real chickens. They are very lovely, and I am sure they are the happiest chickens in the area.

I was about to ask on the forum how long ex-bats normally live... We have still some of our old girls (from the first rescue) that are now about 6 years old too.
Your girls are so beautiful, well done! What a great life you've given them...
