He comes a calling on a regular basis now and is total gentleman so we are letting him stay. I have looked here and online in general for a rooster that looks like him but haven't found an exact match. what do you guys think?

Nifty looking rooster. Most likely a cross which is why you haven't seen ones that look like him.

Beautiful boy! The black and white reminds me of a SL Wyandotte and the red colors remind me of an EE. But don't take my word for it. :)

    He's BEAUTIFUL! [IMG]

I think it's safe to say he's a mix of at least three breeds. I think I'm seeing some Easter Egger, Silver Laced Wyandotte, and something else.... Who knows. Maybe some kind of Plymouth Rock, or Rhode Island Red. But I'm only guessing.

But I gotta say, that's the prettiest rooster I've seen in a while. He's a keeper! [IMG]

Thanks everyone! He is so mild mannered and watches over the hens so well that he has been allowed sleepovers and if any of the hens go broody we are going to let them hatch out a clutch. It will be interesting to see what the chicks look like if that ever happens.
