Well mine were good but were a tad too heavy for me.
They were a step in the right direction but not exactly what I wanted and I think I know exactly why;
When I was making them the dough was so wet that I had to mix in nearly 7 cups of flour with my kitchenaid to get it handle-able. It made a gorgeous dough but I think that is why the end result was a more dense roll.
My kids loved them though, especially with the whipped honey butter!
We had dinner without my DH who told me to go ahead and feed the children and myself why he drives home in some really nasty rain/slush, so I don't know yet what he thinks of them. I hate when he has to drive home in inclimate weather from 50 minutes away, it makes me bite my nails and worry sick...
