Yes, the plan right now is to do it myself, and I plan on using plexiglass.

I'm planning to build mine in front of a fence. How much room would you say needs to be left on the back side to work around during construction?

I would say like 2-3 feet, you just need to be able to have room to nail a few boards up from the back.

I got the door put on today, and did a lot of staining, It is way easier to stain the boards before they are up. I am hoping to get it mostly finished this weekend

We spent $700 on building the coop. That doesn't include all the other necessities like feeders waterers sand PDZ ect. We had absolutely nothing when we started out. We recently spent about $100 on the cattle panel whoop run. There are things I would liked to have done differently but the peeps seem comfy, that's all that matters. Yours is looking great.
