I was in NY on business when our hens laid the first egg - my husband sent me a pic on my blackberry and I ran around showing all my coworkers (who thought and still think I'm crazy). I still have the pic a year later

The whole coop is 9X6 and the roost box is 3X6. They only use the roost box to sleep and now lay eggs. It has 2 nest boxes. I covered the floor of the roost boxes with vinyl tiles, and it is really easy to clean out so I just do it every morning. I also have a covered run area outside the coop.
