My waterers keep breaking- suggestions?

This is what I use. I have both sizes and they
work great. Very easy to fill and cleanhttps://www.premier1supplies.com/p/top-fill-poultry-waterers?cat_id=141.
Those are neat, I have never seen them. Are they easy to open and close?
I have small hands and arthritis and am going to pitch at least one waterer and maybe 2 because I have such a hard time opening them.

My family busted many waterers.

We now use black rubber (yes, flexible black rubber, not plastic) water pans.

They work wonderfully.

I must have 10 fortex pans around here, all different sizes. They last forever and when they ice, you can just flip them over and the ice pops out. The older ones do get black crud on my hands -so there's some kind of deterioration going on but I know some of my fortex are 10-15 years old!

They love to kick things into it. If I end up getting one without legs I'll raise it on bricks, but I'd rather just have legs
Can you hang it? Thats what I do for mine. Of course, this would be more difficult if your run isn't covered. You could probably build some kind of mobile structure to hang it from as well if you have the time.

I use the traditional waterers that were posted below, white and red. I find the bottoms break easily in the winter. I've had them for years, but broke one of the bottoms trying to break the ice out of it, and another I found cracked.
I like 1-2 gallon buckets now instead. All the dirt falls to the bottom, hard to kick things into, they can't perch on them, and they are sturdy. Also hangable.
