Hello all, I'm a first time chicken owner who is very worried about her birds! I have 12 chickens who are almost 11 weeks old now, all larger breeds. All seemed fine until a week after they moved out into their coop. I have tried vetrx and it doesn't seem to be doing too much. Will post a picture in case I may be wrong about the diagnosis but after researching it looks like Mycoplasma Gallisepticum? I noticed one having a puffy like eye and got worried tried the vet rx and it seemed to have gone, except now a different bird has it. All seem to be eating and drinking normally, and not lethargic. I haven't noticed any bubbling of the eye or anything like that however some sneezing here and there. I have also tried saline just in case it would help as that's all I had on hand when I noticed the issue. I have seen that tylan 50 is recommended? I can get it at Tractor supply elanco tylan 50 injection. Is this the right plan of action and if so is it effective to give them orally and how much??

What bedding do you have in their coop?
Have you checked them over really well, at night, with a flash light for mites and or lice?

How does their poop look? Can you get a photo of some fresh poop?

Since the start we have been using pine shavings, I handle them daily they always sit in my lap and hang out for about half an hour to an hour a day. I havn't looked them over with a flash light... could they have mites or lice if they don't itch? Also droppings look normal, however if helpful I could get a picture tomorrow as I already put them to bed for the night.

thank you but it just gave me many different options

Right. You hit the + sign on options that fit what is happening with your birds, and at the bottom it will show possible causes. Of course not everything will match, because there are different causes for similar symptoms, but you can review each one to see what else it could be.

I’m sorry, it doesn’t appear to be working properly now. :(

You mention that this didn't start until you moved them into the coop.
I wonder if something in the coop is making them sneeze.

I am more concerned with how pale her face is.
I would look for bugs tonight.
