Oh no, I’m so sorry!
We’ve been fortunate so far, but that’s my absolute nightmare!

Yes, it was so sad. It was 100% my fault (as it would be anyway, but more so). My dog had been a little stick with a stomach problem, so I wasn't keeping her outside while they free ranged. First time in years I let them range unprotected. BAM. She paid the price for my negligence. It's on me.
