I actually have a red sex link- I think they call it cinnamon queen that looks just like it. Not the best pic, but she is in the front and lays a pretty dark egg (not marans dark)

I was going to say that she looked just like one of my production reds -- just a different color. I didn't realize some of them were that color. Very pretty.

I wouldn't bet on it. Salmon is actually Wheaten with silver and mahogany. (Basically in females it looks like a slightly modified Wheaten) She looks to me like a duckwing x something else.

Well, she may well be a mutt–the guy I bought her from said she was "some breed" but he had forgotten what she was. Definitely not a maran then, because of the leg color (which is yellow). I would add that she appear to me more read in the pictures. In real life she is quite light colored...nearer to white than what I am seeing on my monitor.
