Go chickens! We got our first egg yesterday! We are up to 4 eggs in 1 1/2 days!! Couldn't believe it when my DH texted me that #4 arrived late afternoon! So fun!! Enjoy your new layers!

so true, that first egg is SUCH a wonderful feeling! It's almost like a feeling of reverence at the marvel you're holding in your hand... (ok, maybe I am a bit overboard... no, wait... maybe not...I don't know. I'm not indecisive am I? what do you think?

I will always cherish that first egg feeling, and I've stored that "first egg hot out of the hen with the bloom not dried yet" discovery feeling right up there with it! Ah, I DO love my ladies & gentlemen!!!
