Naked Butt!

I have notice that several of my BUFFS have right under there vents about the size of a baseball is missing feathers and has sores on them. What is going on should I be alarmed?

Can you post a picture of this??? Could they be moulting?

I will try to post one tomorrow. I don't think molting because there all in the same spot and I thouhgt they did that in the summer.

Do you have some birds in your flock who pull out feathers? I had 3 hens who suddenly lost the feathers around their tails and their vents. I thought it was the turkeys they were living with, but after catching them in the act, it was the male guineas chasing them. I guess the female guineas weren't their type! After I separated the birds, their feathers began coming back in.

I'd wonder about mites...

I have sprayed them for lice and mites last week. Still no Change! Here is a pic of one that is naked and one that is ok!

Could it be vent gleet?

Are the sores white or red? They look red in the pic.
