Naked Neck/Turken Thread

I have been to Selma many a time, Use to go to Boomers every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night. Of course though that was like 20 years ago.

we even use to go to JR's a lot or until when I quit smoking.

I would for sure make sure she has water w/I neck reach while she is broody w/ those temps and her dedication. I hand fed my broodies too. They would get off to take care of their business, but I made sure they had extra high protein (bugs) treats all while they were broody. I also made sure they had water they could reach w/o getting up.


Here is a pic of Rudy in action this morning (well just a wing flap, but it is so cute when he does it) he is two weeks today.

Hi everyone I am new to the NN thread. I have a few Turken/Ameraucana crosses. They are 3-5 months old. I have 5 hens and 3 roos. I am so excited to see if they will lay colored eggs or not. They are my fav breed. I really did not even know that their was a whole thread dedicated to the experimentation of NN. I am so excited to be here. Thank you to Flower for posting on the Arizona thread about you guys. Here are a few of my NN.

Chances are really good they will lay green eggs w/ those combs. Pea combs (in the presence of EE genetics) are closely linked w/ colored eggs, usually but not 100% if one is inherited so is the other.
