I am sorry I am too far to give you some eggs. my NN girl is the biggest bird I have. I think she will be 5,5-6 kg (12-13 lb). she is a good layer too (4-5 jumbo eggs/wk).

Oh, I promise, I am sorry as well - I really would love some of her eggs!!! But that's ok. I will take on the need/desire to increase size as a challenge to apply myself to over time.

The world is now 12 Naked Necks richer!

Out if 13 eggs that went into lockdown and hatched yesterday 12 have hatched.

5 from my Columbian/Cinnamon rooster out of EE/NN cross hens.
7 from my Spangled Aloha rooster out of red and barred NN hens and yes all seven are NN. So I guess that means my hens were pure for the NN gene. It does look like any will be spangled/mottled, but time will tell if the hens carry the mottled gene.

Chickengr what breeds did you use to get this size hen? Can it be duplicated I guess is my question
