I really think so too. It's throwing me a little because of her tail feathers and she has really thick legs.

my jumbo is like that but lays eggs almost every day!

Two pullets. Very typical coloration of s sex link cross.

Spangled Aloha rooster over Barred NN hens. Both have good gold color in the bow tie area.

These look almost like identical twins to two of my own chicks. I guess "very typical" is completely right, LOL!

Culled another 8 cockerels this afternoons. I'll have to admit I don't think witching eggs work. 'Cause I didn't even set that many that were supposed to be cockerels.

Another thing many of the best spotted/mottled ones Ones.are always the roosters. Ugh, cockerels.

I feel ya! I still have over a dozen extra cockerels that I need to cull. The Austra Whites are no problem as they were purchased for meat at the start and I they're so flighty that I don't really care for them. But the boys I hatched from this last batch of eggs...they're ALL so incredibly sweet and friendly. That makes it hard for me to cull them.

Nice Blue Birchen NN pullet .

Shot to show the lacing in the bow tie. The sunlight is making it look gold but it is silver.

Daddy is the Cinnamon NN rooster above in other photo.

I don't have a picture of mom, but below is a photo of grandma and grandpa of mama, she looks like mama.

I think daddy must have turned the red from mama into silver..

lost them in 2 days. I am scared to death I might loose more. I have at least 5 sick birds and heat is unbearable. I am not sure if brindusha was sick or she died from heat. I found her in the nest box stretched.

thank you everyone. the worst of all is that I have only byc to talk about chickens. my family and friends don't even understand why I keep chickens at all. their reaction when I loose a chicken is kind of: so what, never mind, you have others. they don't know that each chicken has a personality.
