Glad several of you are planning on keeping beards in your NN lines! I'd love to see birds pure for both NN and beards someday...kev i will be breeding the hoodas back to the motteled houdans to poduce NN MOTTELED HOUDANS i think the bearded NNs are to cool
Is rose comb present in the breeding stock? could be basically he's rose combed but not pure for it and so happens the single comb is 'expressing itself strongly' or it may be duplex comb gene present in this bird. duplex basically splits the comb- the V horns on polish, lafleche, houdans etc are due to duplex comb.
