Naked Neck/Turken Thread

My little sister adores turkins. We have lst all ours but e are going to get some more and then we are going to breed them to my Barred Plymouth Rocks to see if we can get NN jail birds. purely for the sake of it.

Your place has the coolest chickens. Are they amongst birds called 'kirikis'? Sure wish I had that gold lace roo for my silver lace girls- there's no boy here for these:

That is a dilema not many people have, no roos and want (need) them.
Oh and beautiful!

Do you have the parents that made these ladies still? To try and make some boys.

Thanks for kind words. :)

Those and one gold laced hen are the only remaining birds from that whole project. Also for fun, two of them lay green eggs, ha! I'd been thinking about AI them from the silver sussex roo to get started on LF laced NN project but not so sure about that anymore.

would there be interest in eggs or chicks if I get a 'compatible' bantam roo for those girls? btw these girls are very friendly even though I did not hand raise or try to tame them.

Kev Glad u enjoyed seeing the pics he was a kikiri which I think is Spanish for bantam it was very nice looking I've seen a golden sea right here aswel is the lacing gene codominent like if I mix a laced hen with a non laced roo with no lacing history can some of there chicks develope the lacing or does it need to be rebred to a laced bird to get the lacing? Thank and cool project I've never seen any like that before also kass the chicks with the beards r really bearded nice

Soooooooooo tempting, I so don't want any bantam chickens, but if I did these would be at the absolute TOP of my list!!!!!!
