That's interesting about the Brinsea fans, too. Can't believe I didn't think of that. Time for some bator experimentation. :}

It is extremely likely she is part EEThis! This is exactly how mine are turning out, some more patterned than others, but all with this exact color and pattern. I should get updated pics.. I wonder. I know you dabble in EEs, too, is this one possibly an EE/NN cross somewhere down the line? I was told mine were supposed to be green eggers so I assumed they were EE crosses. This pattern is pretty typical in EEs so maybe that's it. Still don't know what it would be called besides 'EE pattern', as it's not really partridge. Maybe yours could have EE in it, too, PsycoPeep?
Glad to have you contributing to the NN thread, it is an open friendly thread, everyone is welcome to participate. Hope your chickies are all ladies.sexing NN's I find challenging, and we all love pics.![]()
Chipmunks can become a lot of diff colors and patterns. After the chipmunk fuzz is gone it will be replaced by the first chick feathers that will give some of the guys (kev and others good at it) on this thread an idea of what the adult color / pattern may be, then those will be replaced by more of the type of color and pattern you can expect from your adult (mostly there are always exceptions)i would love to show pictures but i have no camera. im thinking of buying some more when i can. maybe this week or next.
if one of the chicks has chip munk markings on its back will it be a white and brown chicken when it is older?
What you can't see in that pic is the base fuzz part of her feathers has a lot of blue in themWow oh wow oh wow! I hope my little girl? turns out as pretty as yours, Kass! I bought this one at a swap, he said she was pure, but who knows. A lot of swappers have "barnyard mixes".
