Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Can this chicken live without feathers on most its body? Or will more grow in? I mean, it is naked from neck to total butt area except for a little stripe down its back!
Yes, there are chickens that have both the NaNa and Sc gene that are completely naked, no feathers at all that live (just need indoor living) I think this chick will fluff in, my Jaxom when he hatched before he fluffed up looked just about as naked and he is great now.

Send it to me, here in Fl it does not get that cold.
Love it!!!!

!

But you will learn to love them just because !

I hope so too!

Nadine asked if my NN's are very broody and I couldn't remember if I shared this from summer.
Had a freerange broody Muscovy girl

And a freerange Fm Naked Neck GE roo.
Every morning when the Muscovy girl left her eggs to eat breakfast, this silly FmNNGE guy would go in and sit on her eggs!

After she ate and bathed, she'd have to go back in and run the silly guy off her nest

I finally blocked her off so they wouldn't break any eggs squabbling. But seriously, a ROOSTER!
He makes lovely children too, have a couple in the hatcher right now.

This is funny I have pigeons that take turns with their eggs but the roo and the duck makes me wonder what a roo and a duck baby would look like also I have a bantam frizzle roo the mounts a jacobin pigeon I wonder what there babies would look like also Im not sure if it's possible but pretty interesting If one where to Ever be born

That IS funny. I had 2 male frillback pigeons in a pen of bantams for years and once in a while I'd see them mating a bantam hen. I secretly hoped one day I'd get a pigeon/chicken cross --- and knowing it really can't happen.

Here is one of that silly FmNNGE roosters children that just hatched. The hen is (was, I just traded her) a blue Cochin x Ameraucana cross.

Hey Dipsy, you were going to send a photo of your roo with the weird comb. I would like to see if any of my chicks inherited it.
