Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Whatever his 'pedigree' he is a 'looker' in my books....and quite a mover ,too, clearly. (And I am more than happy to ignore my neighbour's comments that I keep a flock of ugly b*****s with looks which could curdle milk).

Variety is the spice of life AND of NNs.

Kev, I'm not sure if that is "mottled" or not, sure looks like it may be, I have a girl that is doing the same thing. Jaxom had to have had some mottled in is background, that is the only explaination if it is mottled. Now to solve the barring question, have no clue where Shakepear's barring came from.

You have a picture of Shakespear?
I do know that Mensa has barring in her background, her dad was a barred. Not really sure on what her mother was, I had red, buff, black, birchen ( this hen was 1/2 Iowa Blue), and black with some red on them in the mix that she cam from.

Speaking of mottling:

700

700

This is a hen that I got as day old chicks from Cackle Hatchery, I raised five that were a Partridge color but this all of the sudden started developing this mottling on her.

That would thrill me to no end if he is mensa's boy since I plan on keeping him as second roo. And also make sense that he is her's since he has such a tiny bow tie.
