my little beeker is getting more and more red and waddle every day I BELIVE it's a boy!! I really was hoping for a girl to make more little baby beekers lol oh well now I'll have to go and find another naked neck yay chicken math! Lol

Surprise- it's a girl! She has the female color and feather pattern. The red in comb is just showing she is starting to come into lay- still a few weeks away though.

Quotee hen is so cute I just started reading the N/N forum. She looks silver lace wyandotte/NN. I am crossing my one and only NN hen with my Brahmas have 7 babies . Now growing Think I got a lot of rooster want hens. A 2 legged predator stoled my pen of 10 pullets a month . Putting a lock on the pen.ago

Haha thanks.. actually she has no wyandotte blood- never had wyandottes in flock until after her. The lacing is pure accident of right combination of genes and did lead to creating laced NN using her but had to reduce my flock down so there are only two bantam laced NN, both girls and one "left over" from blue laced red NN project(did use BLR wyandotte crosses) I kept because she is a real good sitter and mother.

That's horrible someone would steal your birds....

in case any one is wondering- the babies are peachicks. I could not hatch peaeggs in incubators so the chickens were recruited into setting and often also raising the babies.
