Well BooHoo. I was wrong about my crested Lurken pullet laying her first green egg. It was not her laying at all, but rather an older EE pullet that had been broody and just went back to laying.
Then this afternoon I got a tiny mystery eggs from someone...but it was brown! Now I'll have to keep a closer eye on the coop to see who is laying.![]()
It's kinda' hard to see them but I'll be looking forward to seeing them as they grow out. I honestly don't know if he's been here yet (I directed him) but he is planning to cross NNs with White Jersey Giants. (I think he said white......)
Can I ask about the breeding on these... turken crosses?
