Naked Neck/Turken Thread

I'd show pictures but apparently the new byc either made a whole album they were in disappear or moved them someplace I cannot find. :(
I can't find my pics here anymore either. I am still having issues with the new format, keep losing stuff.

Yeah very difficult to find things in this new format. It seems activity in threads I used to follow are way down.. not seeing many of the 'old names'(Fire Ant Farm, DesertChic etc) on here either. Are people leaving this site & going somewhere else?

p.s. I swear it sometimes seems I am destined not to have many pictures left.. losing them on the old laptop, losing them on here.. phone died, and the latest, it seems photobucket has suddenly turned into a pay site and holding pics hostage.. sigh.. lol

Ok I have decided to get more on board with this necked neck idea.... lol I currently have 6 hens and 2 roos

Seriously??? I'd better go check that out, I've got a whole bunch of pics on there!

Yes. It was talked about on another forum, some members already their accounts locked on or something like that.. also all over the internet, pictures hosted on PB are showing a PB image instead of the actual picture. Happened very sudden without much advance notice.

Lol I started with hatchery stock. The barred boy is out of the cuckoo marans you see behind him and a black tailed red turken, he hatched in January. The yellow one is from the local feed store. so far, so good. late this fall I may get to start hatching more of my own.... I plan to cross the yellow one with my green egg layers, they seem to be my best all around layers

Good cross. There are a few others with NN Marans projects. Dark egger NN would be cool!

The other one looks to be dual purpose bred, should also be a good cross. btw it is not too often to see a turken in his color. I'm thinking he might be a gold and silver color cross, if that's correct there should be both red and silver colored daughters out of him.
