Naked Neck/Turken Thread

Our boy blue foot(that's the roosters name, my kids say I am unoriginal) is one of my main roosters.
I like to name my Rooster "Rooster" when I have more than one I call them "(Breed) Rooster" . for mixed breeds I might get a bit creative.

I name my male cats "cat" my Female cats "Lady Cat" the only time I give a unique name to an animal is when I have a special breeding project where I have to track the parentage. And even most of those times I only have one Rooster of that breed or mix. Thats when the females get breeding names that really aren't that original to be honest.

Let us know when you start getting closer to your goal. I for one would definitely be interested on buying eggs
As much chicken trading as I do I doubt that I will be ready to become NPIP anytime soon.... meaning I will not be able to ship eggs or chicks across state lines. I live in the middle of nowhere but am always happy to share with folks when I can:)

Right, I forgot about NPIP. Sad day :/

We have 2 that color. I am hoping to keep a variety of colors in my Nn. Right now we have 4 Nn roosters a nice looking black, blue footed white( he is one of my favorite and is Big) a splash and a black birchen??? I am going to have to get serious about culling this next winter because I have so many new layers coming up and there is no way I can afford to feed them all... sigh

I'm still in the middle of my hatch over here. I have eleven Nn's out with still waiting on 6 more to hatch. I didn't get any of the plain white one's in this batch so far.

@Compost King 5 of the egg's that hatched from the FNN girl, all have the 4 toes on each foot.
