Naked Neck/Turken Thread

It could be Houdan, sultan, Salman faverolle or silkie. I don't *think* there are other common breeds with 5 toes kept

Forgot about Faverolles, much more likely than Sultan actually. Dorking is the other one that has 5 toes. Favs and Sultans are the only ones besides Silkies with feathered legs, if purebred at least. They are saying they had a black Silkie but they didn't think it had bred with the NN girls, I think it must have, and it's actually a dark blue (otherwise I don't think I could have gotten two blue chicks), unless they come back and say they have a Faverolle. I suppose one of the girls I got from them could be blue covered by the evident colors but I think that's unlikely at best, I think if blue is there it covers almost everything. The only other thing I can think of is that the part barred part laced girl is blue not black barred. Now I'll have to have a better look at her LOL.

Anyone around Billings, MT looking for a NN cockrel? He's my one with blue legs I posted about earlier. Figured I would try here before he goes to someone for cooking.

Not a great picture, but Its the best I could get. Do these look more like rooster or hen saddle feathers?

I have a mystery brown egg laying pullet and the only brown egg layers I have are my turkens, which I thought were both males

Plus if it was a hen, then it would explain the huge size difference too between my pair
