is there a specific color for turkens who are black and brown? the vet said to just call them blacks but i feel odd doing so since my hen and one of my new babies are both brown on the head,bowtie and wing with a black body.

Hi! Here is the first chick from the black giant cross green-egger hen and blue barred Rock cock:

Didn't inherit barring (no headspot), but that's the way the genetics roll. I've got more from the same cross in the incubator and the barred ones will come.
It will be a fabulous blue NN anyway.
