Naked Neck/Turken Thread

I hatched out one from Soggy Bottom Farm...2 went to lockdown...one never pipped ...so sad...I hope the one I have is a pullet....

Had some bad turken luck lately, one wry neck chick that I had to put down yesterday and another one died after hatching today. But this little cutie with weird facial hair survived (he's got the biggest mutton chops I've ever seen!):

I really like the colors on this one, and even better, I think it's a pullet! (8 weeks old). I have three roos, not this color, if anyone near me is interested in adding a turken.

I had the most interesting little chick hatch yesterday. His name is Ambrose Burnsides (not sure if it's a girl or boy though but I'm going with him for right now). He has GIGANTIC sideburns. Hilarious to look at.
He was not very interested in taking a good photo for me.

Also my turken/EE cross just started laying eggs yesterday (although they were soft shelled) and they're green! Whoohoo! She's also pretty strange in that she only has ONE WATTLE. Don't know what's in the water over here...
