Thanks! I got the eggs from out of my nest boxes.

Has anyone found that their NNs are ...well...a bit greedy?. Mine are very greedy, love their food, and maybe it's just so much easier to tell who has had more than their fair share of the treats.

This little girl is delicate, sweet BUT has a huge appetite.

I don't have to ask where she puts it all!

ETA: Not that I have a delicate face or that I look innocent....but that I'm greedy with my treats!! (Just thought I needed to clarify that for ya'll!

LOL ...she does look very sweet and innocent! I have seen my NN girls jump over top of other chickens to get to the treats!!! Even though I always give them some first because they are always first in line, they follow for more treats as I give them to others!!!

"And that 'fibromelanotic' chick is also a frizzle and carries blue egg gene. "

Lisa wow so interesting, I also would love to see pictures as these kids develop. Since my flock is so young, it will be another spring till I can hatch from my bantam NN Am and maybe my super fussy "melanotic" (?) will finally allow herself to be mated by my little rooster Sparky.
