New to Naked Necks. Hopefully I am posting a photo of one of my "pullets". Love the breed and will eventually switch to an all Naked Neck flock. Granted one of the more mundane color versions but I am partial too it. Have a peep who appears to be a naked neck frizzle or whatever one would call it......

I have a question. I sure hope this doesn't mean boy! My white baby is getting red around the side of it's face. I looked at the wattles, they aren't big. I think the body is looking girlish. I will have to post pictures tomorrow, oh I hope it's a girl. :/

The skin on non black NNs seems to change from pale to bright red frequently. So it is difficult to determine gender by skin color as you described. I mistook a pretty pullet for a cockerel for a long time until the folks here voted for female. And she was indeed female.
