I found out that my NNs are always broody, at least more often than my other breeds, i dont like that since i bought a really good incubator, i need them laying but, thats a NN for ya!!!!!Is this breed especially broody? I have heard that Silkies and Cochins are the best broodies but I came across quite a bit of evidence to suggest that Turkens not only go broody often but are great mothers. I am looking to add a broody breed to my flock to hatch the occasional small clutch for me once a year. Any input would be great!
Thanks!
im pretty confident that you will be satisfied with a NN for your hatching needs.
