I got some vitamin drink for them today. I will give some of the hens this. I hope the vitamin drink will at least stop their feathers from getting any worse than what they are now.

3 things I did today were:
Shopping for my chickens stuff - vitamin drink and new feed for my pullets. 23% protein, but it does not say vegetable or meat protein.

Treated my Pekin bantam hen's crop. She has stopped laying egg for 2 weeks now, her crop drop almost to the ground and it feels like something strange in it and it is hot as well. She knows she is not well, she let me gave her Epsom salt drink without objection.

Investigated why 2 of my hens losing feather as if there is a rooster causing it. We do not have a rooster in our flock. I am suspecting my big bully hen jumping these two, I just have not caught her in the act.

It is not a walk in the park with chicken keeping.

Might be bake a banana cake
Thinking about where in my backyard to relocate my 2 professional broody hens.
Think about what to do for me to feel joy with my chickens again. I am tired of them at the moment, it feels like a burden every day caring for them.

That was about it, other than the usual daily stuff.

1. Spent hours outside on a WARM February day in Colorado with my guineas and a few germinated mangoes
2. Washed another load of laundry (isn’t life exciting?!)
3. Sent two emails I’d postponed about job stuff.
