Rose combs are really tricky! They are pretty flat and young pullets combs will pink up quite early compared to other breeds. There has been more than one person on this forum that has given away they’re supposed cockerel only to find out later that it was a pullet. You won’t know with any kind of certainty until this little one is 12 weeks old

The little fella is about 2 1/2 weeks old now. I can try to get a picture of him this weekend when he's closer to 3 weeks but I'm feeling like he's a Roo. I don't have any GLW pullets for comparison but this little chick is developing a fat comb. Can't really tell on the color yet but most hens usually have small, thin combs, right?

Looks like a GLW to me also for some names......well I think onyx is nice mabey leopard or jaguar or good ol' bean is a nice nice
