Please tell me the chocolate one was named Hershey

And cloud was a rooster I think. I bought them as a straight rub. Let me go into my photos. I have one somewhere. Maybe you can tell me what gender my floof was.

Cloud died August 29th. He was fine when we left, came home about 3 hours later and he was dead. No idea why. I have pictures of his little muddy body (it had rained the night before), but no wounds or nothing.

My other babies were killed by my street neighbor's dogs who she didn't keep put up. Eventually animal control took them. They killed mine and 2 other people's chickens.

Hard to tell if Cloud was a pullet or cockerel, I don't see any comb or wattles. Beautiful bird though I'm so sorry they passed, it's hard to know why they die suddenly, or from what. I'm glad the dog situation got resolved, that's horrible.

Hershey was definitely a possibility, but I went with Viking names, so my chocolates are Fray, Freya, and Frida, I call them my choc-o-melts because they still enjoy sleeping under the heat lamp and they look like little puddles of chocolate. The cockerel I'll be crossing them with is named Chonkers and I'm naming the breeding pen Chonkers Chocolate Factory

Cloud died at about 8 weeks old or so. Was thinking with the huge poof it was a boy. I will never know

#8 hatched! I am posting update photos soon. Just have to find the hatch photo and find the right fluffball. My leg bands come in tomorrow so I can just check the foot until they get bigger etc

So sorry for your loss

Lost him and 10 days later lost my brahma rooster and all my pullets to dogs. Now I have new babies.

I miss Feisty though. She was a Buff Orpington and would just lay on you, neck stretched out, like she was giving hugs. I joked she was my ESC (emotional support chicken)
