Natures Cafe Layer Pellets

I'm gone too...Clicks are too hard to compete with..
Call it a click or what ever there is a wide group of educated EXPERIENCED people here on BYC. Some are Educated and have Degrees and some know as much through experience.... and hard knocks.

What we all hate is misinformation and the equivalent of pseudoscience.

My apologies to the Original Poster.... :hugs

Sorry I have dropped out of the thread! I was busy and had no idea how active it became. I did not wish to bring about anyone being insulted or offended. I think it’s beautiful how passionate everyone gets about ducks- theirs or others! I will decide what I feed my ducks based on what is available when I move and will keep everyone updated. Thank you all for your suggestions and input! I love the BYC family, and look forward to everyone’s involvement in raising our ducks together. :)

For what it's worth this is what I feed my calls,

primarily because it is what I have easy access to go my area. . It is 18%. I keep oyster shell on the side for the girls.
Like most things in life there is probably not one clear concise answer that works for all folks and their flock.
My birds consume a ton of worms and bugs from my yard so I feel 18% is sufficient for them. They seem healthy and happy to me.
That isn't to say that 2% higher or lower would be detrimental to their health. . it's just what I have easy access to. I did notice that when I fed the higher protein feed for a while before I switched to this one they seemed consume less.
