Nebraska State Poultry Association 128th Annual Poultry Show (2012)

I've been working as I have time over the last couple weeks and finally got the website for the club up at www.nestatepoultryshow.com and also, if you have facebook, pop over to Nebraska State Poultry Association and like us to stay updated on all the most current information for the show, especially as we get closer to the date! I think its going to be a great time!

Both are a work in progress, but I'm working to keep adding to them as I have free time.

Thanks Carolyn, Its definitely gonna be a long term project as there is still so much to add, but should be able to keep working on it here and there. Can't wait til things slow down a bit so I can get stuff done.

Could you please send us information on the Nebraska show? We haven't showed there in a few years and lost our contact information. Please send to:

No problem! Got you added to my mailing list. We also are going to be making the catalog available online to print with the entry form as well. If you would prefer to be notified by email when it is available, just PM me your email and I'll put you on that contact list.

Thanks

Just adding a special meet for the International Waterfowl Breeder's Association! There are also several more pending and hope to have most of the information for the show up on the club website including the catalog by the second half of September.

Am curious how the Nebr show compares to the fall Hutchinson KS one in size & way its run. Are there breeders out there who've attended both?

Hey Shys!

I think I'm having BYC glitches today, cause I just now got notification you posted! As far as the size comparison, to me honest, I've never made it down to the Hutchinson show as it is right around the same time of another obligation I have. Here we average about 1,200 to 1,600 birds. With bigger meets the numbers have gone as high as around 4,000. I can guarantee you that the two shows have been run very similarly the last few years as previously the same lady that was our secretary, was the secretary for there. I've taken over this year, so fundamentally it is going to be run the same. I'm sure there will be slight nuances, but nothing at all too different. We are going to be adding some other new elements to the show as a whole that I believe will make for a more dynamic show and to be honest, sitting at about 60 days out, I'm sooooo excited for it! I really hope you'll be able to make it! What breeds do you have?
